The Path of Ritual Space

The following is the script from my latest video.

Greetings and welcome back to The Elemental Way.

We’re going to launch right into it, but 1st! Bring forth the standard disclaimer:

And the Lord spake, saying, First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin.
Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less.
Three shalt be the number thou shalt count…

Wait! That’s not my standard disclaimer. That’s the instructions for the Holy Hand grenade of Antioch! For those who don’t get the reference, look it up. Trust me; it’s funny. If you do you’re probably either groaning or laughing, so you may want to pause the video for a moment while you regain your composure…

This video contains a Path-working or guided meditation. It is intended to be watched or listened to while you are in a stable position such as sitting or lying down on pillows, the floor, a comfortable chair, etc.

Do not ever watch or listen to this while driving a motor vehicle of any kind, or while bicycling or walking.

This will be a little longer than some of the previous videos, so please be sure and hydrate yourself beforehand.

Are you ready? Let’s get started .

Make yourself as comfortable as possible. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath and hold it in for a count of two. When you let it out, let it all out. Do this one more time.

You find yourself back in you room on the Astral. Picture the door before you. Remember that when you open it and pass through, it will always remain behind you, ready for you to pass back through.

When you open it, you find yourself back in the gray fog; the Stuff of Creation.

You can see the symbol that you placed on yourself glowing in anticipation. You know that you can make things here that you can carry back with you, but have you considered the implications of that?

I’d like you to try something. Close your inner eye and imagine that you are standing on a round disc of flooring. It is big enough that, if you wished, you could sit down on it and still have room for a ritual space around it.

When you open your inner eye you see the disc forming out of the fog and becoming solid. You know that the first step in creating a ritual space is creating a Circle. If you feel comfortable calling the Quarters or the Elements, please do so now. If you do so, you see the symbols for the Elements forming in their appropriate places. A sense of peace seems to come to you.

But you feel as though something is missing. You have a solid floor beneath you, and the Elements in their places, but above and around you is all open space. It does not feel like a totally protected circle.

Time to add something else. Close your inner eyes again. Now picture a clear dome rising up from the floor The dome needs to have enough head space to make you feel comfortable. When you open your inner eye again, you see the dome forming with a soft glow. And if you look down, you notice the floor is glowing softly as well. You have created a shielded personal sacred space.

Close your inner eyes one more time. Imagine something that you have in your possession; an athame, a piece of jewelry that you use in ritual, or a stone or gem. Hold your hand out palm up and imagine it nestled in your hand. When you open up your eyes, you see a glowing representation of the object in your hand. Now think of the shielded circle you just erected shrinking down into it. Not the floor, but the shielding itself.

As you watch the shielding seems to draw itself down into the object. What you are holding seems to be growing heavier, but not excessively so. Finally the circle is gone and all that remains is the floor you are standing on. With a thought you can dismiss the floor to swirl back into the fog.

Turning around you find the door. Open the door and walk back through it. Close your inner eyes and let yourself return back to your physical body; to the mortal plane; to this time and place.

Remember to let yourself stretch a little before you try to move. Now take a look at your palm. If you open your third eye you will see a glow where the shielding and the representation of the object were. After this video is over, I want you to fetch the object you summoned to mind in the pathworking. Then close your eyes and let the energy transfer itself into it.

For now though, I want you to think of what you may do with the information you’ve learned in this video and the one before it. Think on this: The stuff of Creation is not just available on the Astral Plane; in the place where you went in the pathworking.

What do you think Magick is? I’ve said before that Magick equals Energy plus Intent plus Will. But what is the substance of it? What are you forming when you do Magick? And how are you forming it? You are using the Stuff of Creation, as I call it, that exists everywhere and in everything.
